The Village of Dexter Community

        Nestled along the banks of the Huron River, the Village of Dexter is a friendly, small town. We are located just minutes to the west of Ann Arbor and east of Chelsea.

        In addition to the community parks located within the Village, there are several Huron-Clinton Metroparks within very easy driving distance of the Village.

        The Dexter Community Schools serve our children, and we are a member community of the Dexter District Library. Culturally, we have eight churches located in or near the Village, a museum, and thriving festivals and family activities.

        We are served by the Dexter Area Fire Department, and the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department. Both organizations have stations located in downtown Dexter.
